Teams earned the right to compete in the 2026-27 UEFA Women's Champions League and UEFA Women's Europa Cup based on their performance in their national association's top division for the 2025-26 season (or the 2025 season for those nations using summer leagues). Here is the list of teams that qualified, along with their original starting place. Teams marked with an ↑ were promoted automatically due to rebalancing.

Rebalancing

There can be gaps in the team selection matrix due to (a) the defending UWCL champion already qualifying for European play; (b) the defending UWEC champion already qualifying for European play; (c) the suspension of Russia; (d) fewer than the maximum number of associations entering the competition. Here is how those gaps are filled:

Suspension of Russia: There is one fewer entrant in C1.
Number of entries: Assuming the same associations that entered in 2025-26 enter in 2026-27, the above modifications leave 22 teams in C1, meaning two Round 1 groups will have only three teams.
