The 2026-27 UEFA Women's Europa Cup consists of two qualifying rounds and four main rounds, all played as home-and-away series.

Thirteen teams enter the UWEC directly; 31 additional teams drop into the competition after losing in the qualifying rounds of the UWCL.

Qualifying Rounds

Round 1

There are 24 entrants in the first qualifying round: 13 who begin here, and 11 who finish third in UWCL Round 2. The entrants are seeded based on their 2026 club coefficient, with the top 12 being seeded and the remainder unseeded. The order of home advantage is determined by the draw. Teams from the same association cannot be drawn together.

Round 2

There are 32 entrants in the second qualifying round: 12 winners of round 1, 11 who finish second in UWCL Round 2, and 9 who lose in UWCL Round 3. The entrants are seeded based on their 2026 club coefficient, with the top 16 being seeded and the remainder unseeded. The order of home advantage is determined by the draw. Teams from the same association cannot be drawn together.

Main Competition

Round of 16

The 16 teams that win qualifying round 2 are seeded based on their 2026 club coefficient and divided into five pots. The first four pots each consist of two teams (#1 and #2 into Pot A, all the way to #7 and #8 into Pot D). The remaining teams are all unseeded (which I am designating Pot U). In the round of 16, a seeded team is drawn against an unseeded team. The order of home advantage is determined by the draw. There is no association protection.

The remainder of the bracket is drawn up, with a Pot A pairing playing a Pot D pairing in two quarterfinals, while a Pot B pairing plays a Pot C pairing in two quarterfinals. Each semifinal matches an A-D block with a B-C block. The order of home advantage for each series from the quarterfinals onward is determined by the bracket.

Quarterfinals

The quarterfinals will be played in February.

Semifinals

The semifinals will be played in March.

Final

The final will be played in May.
