2025-26 UWCL Main Stage

The 2025-26 UEFA Women's Champions League consists of three phases: qualifying rounds, a league stage, and the knockout stage. Eighteen teams compete in the main tournament's league stage. Nine teams have automatic berths: the defending champions, the champions of the top six associations, and the runner-ups of the top two associations, according to the 2024 association rankings. Qualifying determined the other nine entrants, with four other national champions and five teams that finished second or third in their league earning bids.
Each team will play six games against six different opponents, three at home and three away. The top four teams will advance directly to the quarterfinals, while the next eight teams will play the preliminary knockout round.

Qualified Teams and Draw

The 18 teams are split into three pots of six teams each. The defending champion is placed at the top of Pot 1, and all remaining teams are ordered based on their 2025 team coefficient. Teams are shown here color-coded by what round they started in (green indicates champions' path; purple indicates league path; darker colors indicate the teams that started in later rounds).

In the draw, each team will be assigned to play one team from each pot home, and one team from each pot away. The order of matches is determined later. In principle, teams will not play an opponent from the same association, and will play no more than two opponents from any one association, during the group stage.
