2025-26 UEFA Women's Europa Cup

2025-26 UWEC

The 2025-26 UEFA Women's Europa Cup consists of two qualifying rounds and four main rounds, all played as home-and-away series.

Twelve teams enter the UWEC directly; 31 additional teams drop into the competition after losing in the qualifying rounds of the UWCL.

Because Russia's exclusion creates a vacancy, Czechia's third-place team is automatically advanced to the second qualifying round.

Qualifying Rounds

Round 1

There are 22 entrants in qualifying round 1: 11 who begin here, and 11 who finish third in UWCL Round 2. The entrants are seeded based on their 2025 club coefficient, with the top 11 being seeded and the remainder unseeded. The order of home advantage is determined by the draw. Teams from the same association cannot be drawn together.

Round 2

There are 32 entrants in qualifying round 2: 11 winners of round 1, 1 team starting here, 11 who finish second in UWCL Round 2, and 9 who lose in UWCL Round 3. The entrants are seeded based on their 2025 club coefficient, with the top 16 being seeded and the remainder unseeded. The order of home advantage is determined by the draw. Teams from the same association cannot be drawn together.

The only known entrant is Slovacko (CZE) with coefficient 3.86.

Main Competition

Round of 16

The 16 teams that win qualifying round 2 are seeded based on their 2025 club coefficient and divided into five pots. The first four pots each consist of two teams (#1 and #2 into Pot A, all the way to #7 and #8 into Pot D). The remaining teams are all unseeded (designated Pot U). In the round of 16, a seeded team is drawn against an unseeded team. The order of home advantage is determined by the draw. There is no association protection.

The remainder of the bracket is drawn up, with a Pot A pairing playing a Pot D pairing in two quarterfinals, while a Pot B pairing plays a Pot C pairing in two quarterfinals. Each semifinal matches an A-D block with a B-C block. The order of home advantage for each series is determined by the draw.
